Orange Silica Gel

The particles of silica gel orange are impregnated with methyl-violet, an indicating agent that gives it the colour orange. The orange colour changes to green as these beads or crystals exceed their full adsorption potential. Orange silica gel is both nontoxic and environmentally friendly. Compressed air dyers, breathers, and non-consumable manufactured products all use it.

Silica gel is a sturdy, porous, reusable desiccant that can be used to shield the valuables from moisture-related harm by lowering humidity levels to below 30% (within enclosed spaces) and avoiding fungus, mildew, and rust development. Unlike certain other desiccants, silica gel does not absorb moisture and does not get damp or balloon in size. It's all non-corrosive, odourless, chemically inert, and produces little waste.
