• Prepare a base layer: Pour a 1-to-2-inch layer of fine silica gel crystals into the bottom of an airtight container.
• Position the blooms: Trim the flower stems short and place the flowers facing upward or downward onto the gel.
• Cover completely: Gently pour more silica gel over and around the petals, using a spoon or your hand to let the fine sand sift in between every petal without crushing the flower.
